WASHINGTON — U.S. Sen. Ron Johnson (R-Wis.), chairman of the Senate Foreign Relations Subcommittee on Europe and Regional Security Cooperation, said this on the sixth anniversary of Russia’s illegal attempt to annex Crimea:

“As Secretary Pompeo has made clear, Crimea is Ukraine. Six years after Russia’s illegal attempt to annex Crimea, Vladimir Putin should know that the United States will continue to answer Russian aggression with strength and resolve.”
